Ghost Hunt Weekends and Tennessee Wraith Chasers, Stars of Ghost Asylum, Kick off Their Wraith Tour at Historic Palace Theater in Gallatin, Tennessee
On Saturday evening, the Palace Theater’s sidewalks were filled with lines of people waiting for the doors to open for the first stop of the Wraith Tour. Guests from all over the United States traveled to the home base of  Tennessee Wraith Chasers for a mash up of celebrity and ghost hunting excitement. Paranormal fans began congregating in front of the theater hours before the doors opened in hopes of getting the best spots possible as they prepared themselves to spend an evening with the stars of Ghost Asylum. With the theater having stood abandoned for many years, one member of the Ghost Hunt Weekends crew was heard musing “I am sure it’s been moons since this place has seen a line like this” as a steady flow of people moved their way through the Palace lobby.FB_IMG_1462925367582
Shortly after the doors opened and the guests settled, Ghost Hunt Weekends founder and president, Chad Morin, greeted  Tennessee Wraith Chasers to the stage where they were met with much applause from their excited fans. TWC treated their guests to a film that showed the history of the group as well as some behind the scenes material. The film proved to be comical and insightful looks into TWC and was met with a warm reaction from the crowd. This was followed by a Q&A session where the audience was able to ask TWC questions about the show, the group, and paranormal investigation in general. Next came a meet and greet, where each ticket holder had the opportunity to talk to, get an autograph from, and a photo with the members of TWC.
After the last photo was snapped, the audience was divided into small groups where they were lead on a ghost hunt of the Palace as well as various locations around the Gallatin city square, which holds the claim of being the most haunted city center in the state of Tennessee, by the Ghost Hunt Weekends crew. At the majority of the stops, guests were met by a member of TWC and were allowed the opportunity of hunting alongside them. And the spirits of the Gallatin were also there to add to the excitement as footsteps were heard, guests reported being touch, mysterious lights were observed as well as many signs of ghostly presences being detected by the ghost hunting equipment.
After the event, a fan of Ghost Asylum stated “what an awesome night! The energy was so high! I had a great time and was excited that the Wraith Chasers were there. GHW crew was so fun and kept things moving. I loved it and will for sure be at another event.” She said that while she had never hunted before and is a fan of Ghost Asylum, she would be sure that she would join both groups on the next tour stop. It seemed that this sentiment echoed throughout the crowd by the positive feedback that has been received by GHW.
Gallatin and the Palace were just the first stop on the tour. On the 11th of next month the Tennessee Wraith Chasers will be joining the Ghost Hunt Weekends crew at the War Memorial Hospital in Scottsville, Kentucky. This location was featured on the first ever episode of Ghost Asylum, and guests will be offered an opportunity to hunt with TWC as they recreate their historicial event. After that the two groups will head to the Old Paulding Jail in Paulding Ohio on July 30th. Both of these locations, like the Palace, locations that are new to paranormal events but have strong paranormal reputations within their communities.
